TBT - 80's Fantasy Movies

I am going to start doing a Throwback Thursday post. The topics will be random but should be fun. If you like these posts please let me know in the comments and I will keep doing them! =)

My all time favorite 80's fantasy flick is and always will be:

The Dark Crystal The Podling dance is my favorite part of the movie. I have watched this flick so many times I can't even count. Like, falling asleep watching it every night kind of thing. I have several versions of it. VHS, DVD, Bluray, Collectors Editions. Huge fan of this movie. Huge fan. Jim Henson, God Bless that man and how he inspired me from very early on in my life.
Next up:
Legend
Young (non crazy) Tom Cruise, unicorns, and an awesome love story. What's not to love, right? And the soundtrack is amazing!! Tangerine Dream, helllllooooo!!!
Last, but not least:
The Princess Bride Not loving this movie is simply "inconceivable". Buttercup, Wesley, giants, sea monsters and even Fred Savage. (I had a massive Fred…

Harry Potter or Ron Weasley? Lets Get Real...

On February 2nd, The Daily Mail posted the following article:

JK Rowling admits Hermione should have married Harry

She stated that she basically had Ron and Hermione end up together to make a majority of her fans happy. I am just glad she admitted that if she could go back she'd put Hermione ending up with Harry. Don't hate me, but I have always wished for a Harry/Hermione romance. Yes, I even wrote a fan fic about it. I know, I know, I'm one of thoooooose Potter people, but you can't disagree with me completely.

Hermione needed someone who could truly challenge her. Lets get real, Ron can't do that. The only challenge he was capable of was making her jealous. To me, they were so boring. Harry really understood Hermione and they were alike in a lot of ways but they also had a balance of differences that could have completed them as a couple. I remember reading the epilogue and getting angry when I finally got to see who ended up with who. Sure, Ron and Hermione coul…

WIP Wednesday

What's that? I am actually blogging?

L O L

I try. I won't lie, I am hard pressed for time with a baby but I am pre-scheduling posts so that should help me.

WIP Wednesday tunes this week are:

Say Something - A Great Big World Featuring Christina Aguilera
Asleep - The Smiths
Warrior - Beth Crowley
I am struggling to find time to write, but when I do these songs have been on repeat this week. Trying to find a good rhythm to write/read/critique/blog is challenging. I know that once baby is on a better schedule things will get easier. I want to thank all of you who keep checking back with my blog to see if there is a post. It means the world to me. I am working on plenty of posts for the month by writing them in advance so please continue to check this space out. I will be showcasing some other fascinating authors and their up coming/current releases.
